Saint Heyward Bruce "PAUL" Ewart III, Ph.D., Psy.D, D.D. served the Lord's Church as Metropolitan Archbishop and Patriarch of the Holy Catholic Church International. On February 4, 2010, while as a priest of the Holy Catholic Charismatic Church, the Reverend Father Ewart was elected and consecrated as the Holy Catholic Charismatic Church's Bishop of the Diocese of the Risen Lord at the hands of His Excellency the Most Reverend Joel Galang Clemente. After much prayer, with strong confirmation and the encouragement of a sister church, Bishop Ewart founded the Holy Catholic Church International, being elevated to the positions of Metropolitan Archbishop and Patriarch. This young ministry was a response to an inner call to conform as strictly as possible with historic doctrine.
Patriarch Paul was the President and Academic Dean of St. James the Elder Theological Seminary, Curriculum Advisor, M.A.-Ph.D. Program, Psychology with a Christian worldview, and a Diplomate for the American College of Forensic Examiners and American. Patriarch Paul was also on the Board of Traumatology Examiners. His Holiness Patriarch Paul reposed in the Lord on December 17th, 2018 ad, being succeeded by His Eminence William Cardinal Malloy. His Holiness was Canonized a Saint in November of 2025.
