Director of Ecumenical Relations
Email:
The Department of Ecumenical Relations (DER) is in charge of spearheading and coordinating dialogue between genuine Churches.
The unity of the Christian faith is the top priority of our Church, for we do not see it as a separate act mission of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but an essential portion of the Gospel mission. Therefore, the DER is openly and actively pursuing ecumenical dialogue with our other Christian brothers and sisters. The DER plans to play a key role in promoting true and visible unity between the various families of Christianity, from both modern and ancient traditions.
The DER is also in charge of open talks and building relations with local, national, and international secular governments.
The Caribbean Apostolic Church is currently in full and official communion with the the United Anglican Convergence Churches, the Ancient Church, Global and is a standing member of the Worldwide Communion of Catholic and Apostolic Churches.
The Most Reverend Lord Jerome Ephraim Chandler, the Bishop of Arima, is the current Department Director.
