Article Seven: Amendments
CANON 1 - These canon laws may be amended at any Holy Synod Meeting of the Church provided:
That such amendments are proposed by the Councils, Churches, committees, officers, ministry groups, or members of the Caribbean Patriarchate.
That such proposed amendments have been made available to the Membership in written form on the two consecutive months preceding the meeting in which action on the amendments is to be taken or have been provided by mail 10 days prior to that Meeting;
That notice of the time and place of the Meeting has been indicated in the above written notification, has been announced, and has been acknowledged by the members of the Holy Synod on at least two months preceding the Meetings;
That the affirmative vote for amendment shall not be less than 3/4 of the votes cast by the Holy Synod members present, with respect to the voice of the Patriarch;
CANON 2 - No amendment to these canon laws which infringe upon the Sacred Scriptures, the Catechism, present Canon Law, or the Constitution of the Church shall be permitted.
